DMVPN questions

Hi all

Im looking at creating a dual hub DMVPN spoke to spoke design for resiliency

I see there are 2 options? single cloud and dual cloud?

what is the difference and why would I use one over the other?

does the dual cloud model have 2 tunnels on the spoke site?

cheers

Carl

DMVPN questions

Carl,

I dont' have any professional experience with DMVPN, but from my undersatnding a dual cloud setup, allows two DMVPN networks using two separate address spaces.

For instance once "cloud" could have 10.0.0.0/24 between hub(s) and spoke(s) and the other "cloud" could have 192.168.1.0/24 between hub(s) and spoke(s).

If I were to create a DMVPN network, I would configure a dual hub as well.

This site may help you out.

Re: DMVPN questions

Hello, Carl.

Single cloud is needed if you what full-mesh between spokes in DMVPN phase III.

If you won't use full-mesh, but only hub-to-spoke, then I would recommend you dual cloud, as it's easier to support.

PS: could you clarify your requirements including bandwidth, number of spokes and Hubs location[s]?
