Hi,

could you ping other websites? and the specific IP address without resolution?

try ping google.com, and ping 64.233.167.99

cisco.com is not pingable (no ICMP echo reply)

Use PPPoE or PPPoA?

I can ping the gateway, Both DNS address, sometimes I can ping yahoo.com (not everytime).

Not all ISPs support ICMP. From the router, try "traceroute cisco.com", if you dont get replies from hops, probably you ISP has blocked ICMP. Try browsing www.cisco.com.

You may also try pathping "www.cisco.com" from a Windows XP station.

Correction - as told by ariela, Cisco.com doesn't support ICMP. Try other websites or you may directly browse to the website.
