I have a 2650 router with a VWIC 2MFT-E1-D1 module.

For test purpose I connected the both E1 interfaces with eachother using a crossover cable with pinout 1->4,2->5,4->1,5->2

with the using configuration (see attachment) I get layer 2 error's.

Someone any idea how i can solve this problem?

E1 uses pins 1,2 for Recieve and 4,5 for transmit.

YOu have to cross 1 with 4 and 2 with 5. Make sure you set the clocking internal.

Please rate if I could help,

Regards,

thanks.....it was a configuration issue.
