E1 link showing as 1.5 mbps in router interface

HI..

I have a serial link connecting 2 routers with 7206 on one end and 2811 on the other. The configuration is for frame relay. The 7206 side has g.703 interface and 2811 end has v.35 interface. The link is for 2 mbps but shows only 1.5 as bw on the 2811 side. It is correct on the 7206 side.

Any comments ?

Hi,

Use the "bandwidth 2048" command under interface configuration mode to configure the actual bandwidth , then use "show interface " command to see it in the effect.
