Greetings

By refering to the following Web Link

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/788/products/vwicmf_e1.html

I have a little bit confusion. We have purchased the Product number VWIC 2MFT-E1. Now our service provider is giving us unstructured E1-G703 Connection.

So do i need the Product Number VWIC 2MFT-G703 or my current module will work with unstructured G-703?

Earlier response will be highly appreciable.

Regards

Hello Mansoor,

It looks indeed as if you have purchased the wrong module. I found the following URL which details the support for unstructured G703:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1834/products_feature_guide09186a00800e976b.html

It will not help you a lot but at least you know the issue.

Regards,

Leo

I have a VWIC-1MFT-E1 inserted into a 2600 router. My telco has told me the line is G703. I would like to know if the VWIC-1MFT-E1 supported G703. Or do I need to buy VWIC-1MFT-G703?

Can someone confirm this for me?

If VWIC-1MFT-G703 is indeed required for G703 telco line, is there any way to make the VWIC-1MFT-E1 work with G703 telco line?
