Dear All

What i know is if you there is 2 routers established EBGP via loopback address and the command {neighbor ip-address ebgp-multihop} used without speciying any ttl value in the ebgp-multihop command it's gone working because the default value is 255 and it's enough to reach the remote peer loopback BUT there is many Q in testking and alot of resources said that is wrong so could anybody confirm with me

Best Regards,

Mounir Mohamed

It is usually a good idea to limit the TTL to a minimum. This prevents the eBGP session to get established via an unexpected path.

Hope this helps,
