Eigrp & BGP redistribution

Hi there,

I am running both protocols on the router. All my traffic outbound has to be natted to 172.16.57.0 network.

This is what the peer want to see me coming. I have a distrubite list out to the peer and need to send this route across to a bgp peer. This network is given to us by the peer and we will be natting all our inside network to this network.Since, this is not a actice network anywhere in our environment, how do I inject this network and send it across to the peer as my network via bgp? do I need to put a static route pointing to null0 for this network?

I am not sure and hope someone can answer.

Thanks.

When you want to advertise a network to a peer in BGP and that network is not in your IP routing table already, then the common solution is to configure a static route for the network pointing to null0 and then put a network statement into BGP for that network.
