EIGRP tweak

Hi everyone, please refer to the attached exhibit.

- Router C and Router D are DMVPN head-end routers located at the Data center
- C and D have a direct connection with each other via a layer 3 switch

Q: How can I have Router C advertise a better route for all branches to the Layer 3 switch so that the switch would prefer Router C for all branches?

Re: EIGRP tweak

Assuming you're using EIGRP (not specified), you could influence routes via bandwidth or delay setting (K1 and K3 values), or even an offset:

You must set the metric according to the link below:  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/technologies_tech_note09186a00800c2d96.shtml  Regards, Leo

Thanks Gents, I just spent the last hour studying the link you sent and have learnt quite a bit from it. I think I am going to use the offset list to influence the metric on the layer 3 switches.
