Encryption over Frame-Relay

I have two sites connected via a dedicated / private FR circuit. Several servers on one side talk to about 2 servers on the other site. I need to encrypt the data over this circuit and the encryption should be setup on the endpoint routers themselves.

Communication is bi-directional i.e. sessions can be initiated from servers on either side. The routers will also have to NAT the IPs of the servers.

I have never setup encryption over FR (I know Cisco CET w/ GRE but we're looking for options). Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Re: Encryption over Frame-Relay

Is ipsec an option for you? If you use that, as a l3 technology it takes the l2 (frame relay) out if the picture.

Re: Encryption over Frame-Relay

Paras,

Please refer the below URL to set up IPSEC Tunnel between two sites:

In case if you want multicast traffic to flow across the tunnel, you need to do Ipsec Over GRE.

Let me know if it helps.
