Hi there,

I don't thik that tftpdnld works for Catalyst 6K, i think that you have to go for xmodem or use the boot image to download the image using tftp (which might not be an option here), or as a last resort if you have a platform utlilzing the same file system use it to put the old image on a PCMCIA card and boot your switch with it (actually this works great).

HTH.

Mohammed.

copied old image to PCMCIA and in ROMMON > boot disk0:

its comes up . but when i restart it goes to again rommon MODE .

I did changed Boot parameter . but no luck ..

plese guide me what excat command i have to issue or change

Cheers

Hi there,

Its that simple, after booting it up from the rommon issue the following:

config-register 0x2102

boot system disk0:

write memory
