i have cisco 2811 router. i had upgraded the IOS. after the upgradation the router went to romon mode. when i am trying to boot the router from romon using boot flash command its giving loadprog: error - on read during ELF program

You mention 2811 but this is a 2600.

In any case, format flash and copy image again using tftpdnld.

Note if it is not an XM model with maximum RAM installed, you will never be able to use latest IOS.

hi i have cisco 2611 router not an XM model. i have tried via tftpdnld and xmodem. but the result is same.

As said above you cannot load recent IOS because too little memory.

2600 non-XM is practically useless.
