Error while saving the configuration

I'm trying to save the configuration in 1760 Router after adding so many static Routes and I'm getting the following error . Is there any way to compress without memory upgrade?

Pls do a service compress-config. This will solve your issue

Thanx. Where should I issue this command ?. In Global mode or config mode.

It is global. the command is 'service compress-config'
