Fabric Path & HSRP

Dears

Please find the attached topology.

I have 2 Nos 7K and 2 Nos 5K, and i am enabling the fabric path between them, i am confused for the fabric path switch ID, 2 No's 7K switch ID will be different than the emulated switch ID. Because i have read the document that if you want HSRP to works in Active/Active data plane then the emulated switch-ID used in vPC domain should be same.

Please confirm the configs are correct to work this topology

N7K-A

fabricpath domain default

fabricpatch switch id 1000

vpc domain 1

role priority 1

fabricpath switch-id 2000    ----should be same on both 7K if we want HSRP data plane as active/active

int po2

sw mode fabricpath

vpc peer-link

int ether 1/7-8

sw mod fabricpath

N7k-B

fabricpath domain default

fabricpatch switch id 1001

vpc domain 1

role priority 10

fabricpath switch-id 2000    ----should be same on both 7K if we want HSRP data plane as active/active

int po2

sw mode fabricpath

vpc peer-link

int ether 1/7-8

sw modw fabricpath

Anybody canhelp for the above query.

Thanks

Clark,

You are correct - config looks clean.  Look at the config below.  Also take a look at the Quick Start Guide ::  FabricPath for more config details and best practice recommendations.  https://supportforums.cisco.com/community/netpro/data-center/others?view=documents
