Failover between T1 & DSL WAN Cards on 2621?

Can the Cisco 2621 with a T1 and a DSL connection on the two WAN ports be used as a failover? We use the T1, but want to use the DSL as a backup instead. I do believe that I can load balance between the two WAN ports...

you can setup the dsl to be used as a backup by creating a static route for the dsl link with a higher cost to the destination.

this way, when the lower cost T1 fails, the router still has a route, via dsl, to your destination.

see the following link on unEqual cost load balancing as well. (igrp/eigrp)

Hi

you can always make an interface for failover by giving following commands on that interface

"backup interface

backup delay 1 1"
