FALSE TRAP GENERATE FROM CISCO 7513 SNMP

Hello,

I have a big problem in a WAN infrastructure with ATM protocols.

The proplem is this :

I have an ATM subiterface that fall in a branch (eg: ROME > Napoli ) then I have a right TRAP over NNM that the ATM PVC are fault ... When the ATM come UP I receive a loop of message in NNM that the protocol are still down !!!

This loop has got a frequency of messages any 30 second

This generate a big problem to the network support that receive FALSE ticket.

Once the ATM interface comes up try restarting the NNM so that it is in sync with the ATM interface status and see if it is fine from there on.
