Hi,

You probably need the PA-2FE-TX and PA-2FE-FX cards. There is more detail on those here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2033/products_module_installation_guide_chapter09186a0080109103.html

Hope that helps - pls do rate the post if it does.

Raj,

Your I/O board may have build-in FE ports (Either one or two). If so you will just need to add 2x PA-FE-TX or 1x PA-2FE-TX / FX

Ajaz Nawaz

Hi Friends...

Thanks for the needful.

I do understand the PA-2FE-TX would serve my purpose but isn't there any Port Adapter (PA) which comes with four ports on a single PA instead of having 2 PAs i.e 2 PA-2FE-TX since I need 4 ethernet ports???

If iam right you will get an 8E, a 2 FE and 1 GE, there is no 4 FE in the 7200 PAs

Raj,

All the options have been discussed. There is no PA available with more that 2FE ports. If you went down to 10mb then yes, you have PA-8E but I understand this is not what you require.

See this url for all the options available to you:

Hi,

not sure if your using an NPE-G1 in you router but the following might be f interest if your going beyond 4 FastEthernet ports on a

router .

Summary:

Oversubscription of bandwidth points is NOT a TAC supported configuration.

Detail:

Cisco 7200 series router with NPE-G1 (3 Gigabit/FastEthernet ports do not take up bandwidth points).

Slots 1,3,5 have a total of 600 bandwidth points max.

Slots 2,4,6 have a total of 600 bandwidth points max.

In all 1200 points

PA-FE-TX/FX = 200 points

PA-2FE-TX/FX = 400 points (.i.e if both ports used)

So:

PA-FE-TX/FX 200 Bandwidth points x 6 = the full 1200 points

PA-2FE-TX/FX 400 Bandwidth points x 6 = 2400 if all ports used

So you can only have a total of six Fastethernet ports on a router.
