Fastethernet Interface Problemm ?????

Hi,

I have seen on my router LOG 2600 series router.. its F0/0 line protcol was down , i have seen multiple up and down in last two day's ..

I want to ask what are the reason behind this..... type of error.. what are th e suggestion from your side...

there are few reason

1) may be connector having problem

2) other side to interface having some problem

3) check the speed/mode in both side

3) check the errors and how many time interface reset?

mostly it is physical layer problem.

Thanks for the ANS very help full..

An other Issue i m facing on 2600 series network .. i am using E1 for serial connectivity btween router's

i am facing problem it is also due to the media but to confrim it from config... point of veiw

I have seen in my log E1 controller is down

E0 0/0 contr down

S0/0:0 down

LP S0/0:0 down

and Alarm i am reciiving RAI ---- > LOF

Amiazing thing it take 3 to 5 sec to be UP..

plz chk config and suggest if there is any problem. in config.........

Configuration are

controller E1 0/0

clock source internal

channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31

interface Serial0/0:0

description XXXXX

ip address 192.0.0.1 255.255.255.252

Simple but wht suould be the possible reasons..
