Finding BGP received communities

Hi,

Is there any way to find out what BGP communities are received from particular neighbor and on which pre-fixes?  Can we filter or block the pre-fixes according to the community by which they are marked.

Thanks

Re: Finding BGP received communities

Hello Subodh,

you can use a previuosly defined community-list to filter BGP table:

sh ip bgp ?
  A.B.C.D          IP prefix /, e.g., 35.0.0.0/8
A.B.C.D          Network in the BGP routing table to display
  all              All address families
cidr-only        Display only routes with non-natural netmasks
community        Display routes matching the communities
>>>>  community-list   Display routes matching the community-list

of you can use sh ip bgp A.B.C.D to see details for a specific prefix

Hope to help

Giuseppe
