Hi,
i inserted a new PVDM2-24DM into a ISR3845 (IOS 12.4.10a feature-set IP-Base).
I got following questions:
- Is there a firmware onboard on a new module ?
- When i like to upgrade the firmware; where i find the firmware on the CCO to download the according image
Thank you very much for your feedback
regards

Firmware is almost always part of a IOS release.
I suspect the reason you can't get them to work is this.
Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4.9T and above supports the Cisco Digital Modem PVDM Modules
I think this is very latest IOS you can even get off cco

But i got release 12.4.10a on the 3845-er. You think i have to downgrate to 12.4.9T ?

The T releases are upgrades. This will be eventually be called 12.5.0. most times these are you only option for new hardware.

With the IOS release 12.4.9T1 it works. PVDM2-24DM is identified through the IOS.
Thank you very much for your support.
