We just uploaded c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.T.bin ios to our 2811 Router and went ahead to delete the former c2800nm-ipbase-mz.124-3d. However when we reload, the Router boots to Rommon with error 'compressed image checksum is incorrect'. We try to do tftpdnld from Rommon but it doesn't execute. We try sending the ios from our tftp server but it gives error: retry times exhausted, file sending aborted. Is there any other way we can upload an ios image to this Router?

Hi,
Unfortunately you'll have to use xmodem, ?Console download (xmodem)? Use this method if the computer that is attached to your console has a terminal emulator that supports the Xmodem Protocol.
For more information about using the Xmodem protocol, see the Xmodem Console Download Procedure Using ROMmon at the following URL:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/130/xmodem_generic.html
But can you at least try to review the TFTP download (tftpdnld):

Hi,
Try using FTP instead. (its a much better protocol ! )
rommon 1> boot ftp:user:passwd@192.85.16.23//c12k-mini.3.1.0.v m
HTH, rate if it does.
