Flash space error

Hi

I am facing a problem. I have 3845 router.Have 128 flash and 1 GB Mem.

Running an image which capacity 24 MB.

now free 96 MB.

Now I want upload an image advanceIP which space 37 MB. but when i upload this image after load sometime it shows error that not enough free space in Flash:.

so what is the solution of this ?.

test2.exe a sample file to testing. I've also observed that upload to the

flash fails when it is a big file like 44MB.

I having some problem to load the IOS and getting error [No space left on

device] when spece available.

Hi

yes fromate but same error came, even you see same error in file system when it is exceed 30 MB.

so TFTP can not upload big image ?..

so for big image xmodem is solution ???.

any one face like this problem ??.

yes this is a know limit with tftp. Can't remember what the actual limit is but I have a feeling it's around 32mb (I'm sure someone will correct me). Try using FTP.

Dear ,

after you format/erase flash try the commnad squeeze flash : ..then load the new file .

you can try one thing more :

1) after you erase flash / squeeze it and then load the new file first .

If it loads perfectly then load the old one. This way you know the new file is not corrupt also .

It is always advisable to use FTP for large image sizes.
