FPGA information

HI all,

I'm looking for some information about the FPGA feature. If I'm right it works like an interpreter between the backplane of the router (7304) and the route processors or any other card in the chassis. Is this correct?

Thx a lot in advance

one more thing, documentation says:

"With the introduction of the FPGA Bundling and Update feature, FPGA images are bundled with Cisco IOS images for the Cisco 7304 router. This bundling eliminates possible conflicts between the Cisco IOS image and the FPGA image required for a particular piece of hardware."

In the below output there is a conflict between the version bundle and the flash version, the flash version is referred to the space of memory in the hardware device or in the router main memory? I don't know where to get infromation about it...
