Frame Relay Multilink vs Frame Relay Multilink o/PPP
I have a question regarding Frame Relay Multilink over PPP vs Frame Relay Multilink. I have bundled 4x2MB links into a Frame Relay multilink bundle, but I am experiencing lost fragments on one of the bundle links. I wonder if implementing PPP could solve this problem. What is the general advantage of running PPP in this context, given the fact that PPP causes more overhead ?
Re: Frame Relay Multilink vs Frame Relay Multilink o/PPP
Actually I think MLPPP over FR was made for those who cannot use FR ML and have to bundle links on their own. You should try getting FR ML to work upgrading code (if applicable) first, then diagnosing (show buffers, etc), resorting to TAC help if necessary.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
