How can I tell what the CIR is for a frame-relay circuit?

Is there someplace on the router I can find this information?

Thanks,

"One" of the debug frame-relay cmnds output shows CIR, I'm sorry I can't remember which one. We don't use FR here, this is from a previous job. It might be "debug frame-relay lmi" or "deb frame end-to-end"

sh frame-relay pvc ...

Hope this helps

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

My "sh frame-relay pvc 51" output is showed below:

Router #sh frame-relay pvc 51

DLCI = 51, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = ACTIVE, INTERFACE = Serial0.1

input pkts 7658831 output pkts 15805190 in bytes 1740880024

out bytes 935088571 dropped pkts 0 in pkts dropped 0

out pkts dropped 0 out bytes dropped 0

in FECN pkts 838106 in BECN pkts 0 out FECN pkts 0

out BECN pkts 0 in DE pkts 917355 out DE pkts 0

out bcast pkts 77676 out bcast bytes 28274046

5 minute input rate 0 bits/sec, 2 packets/sec

5 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

Is it possible see the CIR information if I'm not using map class?

Tks,

Marcelo

show frame-relay pvc command, or also try show frame-relay ? with various combination

-Minu

The command to display the CIR of a PVC is 'show frame-relay map'. However, the CIR would be displayed only if the LMI type is set to Cisco.

Hope that helps!

Sundar

Sundar,

The command to display the CIR of a PVC is "show frame-relay pvc X" where X is the DLCI number, which should be specified to display the CIR, bc, be....

In addition, the LMI type has no relation. This would work with three types of LMIs.

show frame-relay map would only display L3/L2 mappings.
