hi all,
when i configure frame relay on serial0,
does status can be in
serial up, line protocol down
if yes then what will be the pvc status.
when it will having that status.
what can be the problems.
similarly for
serial down, line protocol down.

Line protocol down on FR means there is no LMI exchange with the switch. This can be due to the wrong lmi type configured.
Serial down means no CD signal from "modem", circuit is not working at all.

I believe that Paolo is correct that the most common cause of line protocol down is the wrong type of LMI being configured. I have also seen this symptom when the frame relay interface was configured with no keepalive. If line protocol is down then there will be no active PVCs on that interface and you will not transmit any data.
Interface down us usually in indication of a physical layer problem - interface not properly connected or something like that. And obviously in this situation there will be no data transmitted.
