G.shdsl with 1841 Router

Hi all

I have 2 depts distance is around 500 mts, rt now we are using "Pairgain" over 2 pair copper( 4 wire, ordinary telephone cable)its actually HDSL.but now a days pairgain is not available so i'm planning to replace all these pairgain systems using G.shdsl.

using 1841 router and "WIC1-Shdsl V2" interface card which will support 2 wire (single pair) & 4 wire(2 pair) copper cables.My plan is to deploy the cards in back-to-back configuration.

i will appreciate all suggestions.

With that type of distance you may very well look at Long Reach Ethernet. It might be faster and cheaper.

actually like this i have around 4 locations, 4th location is around 1.5 km, rt now all these are working with pairgain equipment,i just want to change the equipment and technology,bcoz i want to avoid the civil work, like digging the roads and cabling, for that i need to take permission from Goverment, i want to avoid that.
