Hi All,
Just wondering what exactly the difference between Parallel Cut Vs Hot Cut of carrier circuits. I know its term used mostly by carriers during circuit upgrades/ changes..but what exactly does that mean.
Thank you in advance.

A parallel cut usually means that there are two ISP circuits (and local loops) and you swap production from one to the other. A hot cut usually means the ISP provisions the circuit (one local loop) live or configure as you go (and hope for the best)! There is no parallel circuit to fall back too.
Hope that helps.
