GLBP 80/20 percent load balance.

How would I accomplish 80/20 load balance on my routers? Would for instance glbp 1 weighting 80 accomplish it?  But then the value range is between 1-254 so I don't think this is it.

RT1 has a bigger pipe so I want more traffic to go through it and leave the other one on 20.  Thanks in advance.

example: so let say 254 is 100% I would do this:

R1

glbp 1 weighting 204
!204 is aprox 80% of 254

R2

glbp 1 weighting 50

!remaining value

Would this be correct?

Hi dworzanczykb,

As I understand, it will work. "The only reason you would use this is if you have a larger circuit on the primary router than on the backup router. So the higher weight of 160 will take twice as much traffic as the lower weight of 80. If the weights are 120 and 80 respectively, the primary router will take a quarter more traffic than the backup."
