GLBP weighted load balancing

I have 2 routers that connect via P2P to other 2 routers one is using 512kps and the other a full T1. I want to be able to use both interfaces via GLBP sending 3 packets to the router that has T1 and 1 to 512kps link. How do i configure this?

routerA ----- T1 ---- routerB (GLBP)

routerA-1 ---- 512kps ---- RouterB-1 (GLBP)

Thanks in advance

Re: GLBP weighted load balancing

Hello,

you'll need the command

glbp group load-balancing weighted

then use:

glbp group weighting maximum

to specify each router a specific weight

hope this help a bit

Re: GLBP weighted load balancing

I want to use the total bandwitdh available on both routers (T1+512kps) in a GLBP fashion. Im using the bandwidth 1544 on both BLGP routers to allow the EIGRP routing use both, otherwise

it will prefer the T1 only.

Let me know if the weighted is correctly.

Any suggestings are appreciated.

Thanks

Mario
