GRE tunnel and H323

hallo,

we have two remote sites each having a separate connection to the Internet by ADSL with one static public IP address on each router wan ATM0.1 interface.

We have to make VoIP/H323 between the two private remote LANs behind the routers.

Can we configure and use two tunnel interfaces to have a GRE VPN for VoIP ?

Is in this case H323 at repair from NAT/PAT ?

best regards

francesco

A PIX firewall can be configured to allow the traversal of two different Voice over IP (VoIP) protocols, H.323, and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Due to the fact that VoIP protocols are made up of signaling and IP address/port combinations, there are a number of issues with VoIP and Network Address Translations (NAT). The PIX firewall fixup protocol addresses these issues.
