GRE Tunneling

Problem with GRE Tunnel:

I keep getting tunnel 0 up down, and there is no route to the destination, even though I put in a static route.

Message was edited by: kehagen Thanks guys.  Basically I fixed it by fixing the ip connectivity between the two routers.  Your questions triggered me to look in the right direction.

Re: GRE Tunneling

Hi,

can you do an extended ping between the two loopback addresses (i.e. ping 128.8.8.8 with source 129.9.9.9 )? If not, you may need to add a static route for them over the serial interface.

HTH,

Marcel
