Hard disks are not getting detected.

I have a question to all the forum, I have cisco mcs 7825 series server and I want to install windows 2000. The inbuilt server is HP and I m using HP SMARTSTART setup and installation guide to install windows. But I m getting an error that says that the hard disks are not getting detected. Please help to solve this issue.

The problem may occur due to the following reasons

1. Plugging wrong

2. Cable installed wrong or bad.

3. Bad drive.

4. Bad controller

If all the above four are fine than sure there is some problem in the Bios. Enter the bios and load the setup defaults - the virus may have changed some stuff around - or there is a possiblilty that that motherboard will not deal with a disk that large (at least w/o a bios update).
