Hardware for Multilink PPP?

Hi Folks -

I have a Cisco 2821 router that I will be using for terminating multiple T'1 using MPPP. The total number of T1's would be 6. The 2821 already has two vwic2-2mft-t1/e1 cards giving me a total of 4 T1 interfaces.

So if I order WIC-1DSU-T1-V2 (two of them), will those work with the existing VWIC cards I already have to create a MPPP bundle?? Or should I order another vwic2-2mft-t1/e1??

Also, will the 2821 handle 6 T1's??

In addition, is there a better way (may be another network module or HWIC) of terminating the 6 T1's on the 2821??

Thanks for your help!

Re: Hardware for Multilink PPP?

Though you can terminate 6 links on the 2821, Cisco recommends not more than 4 T1/E1s on a 2821.

It would be better to upgrade to a 38xx
