how to account for traffic on a distant NAS?

Hello guys,

On my NAS there is a NetFlow collector (ndsad). And because NetFlow is sent via UDP, some info on traffic may be lost. RADIUS accounting is not good for this purpose too. If the channel is not stable enough, how to pick up statistics from the NAS?

NetFlow is typically used on a central site because all traffic from the remote sites is characterized and is available within NetFlow. The location where NetFlow is deployed may depend on the location of the reporting solution and the topology of the network.Refer URL http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6601/products_white_paper0900aecd80406232.shtml

Yes, that's important for me to use traffic classifier of my UTM billing, and if I use, for example, RADIUS accounting I will miss a lot of data. That's why I prefer to use Netflow along with Netflow collector on NAS. But, is there any way to send NetFlow packets via VPN or TCP/IP?
