Hi

The standard static route's syntax is :

Router(config)#ip route

The default route is added as following:

Router(config)#ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

Pls give us the config. and network diagram, which will help us suggest more.

Pls rate helpful posts.

but i wanna add routes into switch3650 not in router..!

This is a multilayer switch, it can support routing.

Please check that the ip routing is enabled or not.

And you can use static routes and dynamic also....

Please rate me if I helped.

multilayer switch support the routing function ...

dont forgot to enable routing using command

ip routing

then configure the static route or any routing protocol...

rate this post if it helps

Hi

Dont go by the hostname "Router" example. This is only for symbolic deom..Tell me one thing....If a switch is capable of routing packets in a network...then won't you term it as a "Router"? :-)

This is a multilayer switch, hence this command must be there.

Pls rate helpful posts.
