How to configure a built in switch for 1800 cisco router

are you trying to use the 1800 router as a core switch to define vlans? it sounds like that is what you are talking about. please describe in greater detail what you're looking to do...

I am trying to establish a connection between the router and a built in switch. Do I need a physical connectin? I ssumed the connectin is intergrated. Thank you.
