How to connect internal GB port to WAN ISP on 1921 router

can I use one of the two internal GB ports as WAN port to ISP or do I need to purchase an HWIC module?  We are upgrading from 1841 router with T1 to 1921 router with 50 MB connection.

Sure you can.  Both ports are Layer 3 interfaces.

50 MB sure does sound like Ethernet and if so then I agree with Leo. But perhaps we can get the original poster to confirm what type of connection they will have to the ISP?
