This is your host send an MLD (IGMP for ipv6) report. The host is the one causing the problem. It looks like it has an HP nic at mac address 6431.5002.c6cf.

Personally, if you're not running IPv6, I'd find this host and disable ipv6 support....

In global config "ip igmp limit 100" will limit number of igmp messages.

Or under interface you can set igmp version 3 so that it wont cause you high cpu usage problem.

"ip igmp version 3"

Hi,

By default ipv6 routing is disabled. To disable it you have to use the "no ipv6 unicast-routing" command.

Ivan

I tried on cisco 6500 series switch but this command didn't work, maybe another command?

What is your version? Do you have any output on "show ipv6 route"?

Kind Regards,
Ivan

Version:

Cisco IOS Software, s72033_rp Software (s72033_rp-ADVENTERPRISEK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(33)SXI1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

I can not take output

"show ipv6 route"

Hi,

Did you run the "no ipv6 unicast-routing" command in the configuration mode? What error did it give you (please post here)?

Kind Regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

ı took this output ;

sw1(config)#no ipv6 unicast-routing

                 ^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Could you do the "?" for ipv6 in config mode?

     sw1(config)#ipv6 ?

Kind Regards,
Ivan

Ersin,

Why do you think it's enabled? It doesn't look like your IOS supports it...

Hi,

I can't find a confirmation in release notices but it seems ipv6 is not supported in that IOS version. IpServices should have the ipv6 functionality.

Ivan
