Hello Giuseppe,

Where can i find some material for comparing these two options. Please, explain it more.

Best regards

Saied

Hello Saied,

for the SPA I've found the config guide

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/core/cis12000/linecard/lc_spa/spa_swcs/1232sy/index.htm

I've found a 1 port 10GE linecard

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps6342/product_data_sheet0900aecd803f856f_ps167_Products_Data_Sheet.html

notice that 12000 XR implies IOS XR (modular)

Hope to help

Giuseppe

I actually use both options on same 7609, SIP-601.

I use one 10G as uplink and 2 others bundled up as an etherchannel.

all works well !
