HWIC card for 1861

Can you tell me if the card HWIC-1SER is the equivalent card HWIC-1T for 1861 router?

Hi,

The both will have different types of interfaces so they are not equalent.

HWIC-1SER -->1-Port Serial HWIC for 1861
HWIC-1T -->T1/E1 HWIC w/ Intg. CSU/DSU (1861-only)

I mean HWIC-1T=  and not HWIC-1T1/E1=

For example:

2901 with HWIC-1T is equivalent (about the compatibility card) to 1861 with HWIC-1SER ?

Hi,

HWIC-1SER= does not come with an integrated CSU/DSU and uses smart serial ports just as the HWIC-1T= does:
