Identifying Cisco Router Interface Cables

Hi,

We use 3700 (Data) and 2800 (Voice) router for our clusters via telnet remote access, I want to know what commands to use to verify what type of cable is plugged into the WAN Interfaces.

IOS version is 12.3 and show controller doesn't seem to show any type of cable such as X.21 or Cat5/6.

Thanks

I think these both command will work: show controllers cbus and show controllers serial 1/0.

I am not sure that there is any command that will show the cable type for X.21 or Cat5/6. I have seen show controller serial give helpful information about the cable attached. But I am not sure that some of what you are looking for is available.
