igmp snooping and PIM domains

Hi

If I have 2 PIM domains connected to each other via a 4507 using ethernet and the 4507 has IGMP snooping turned on, how will the 4507 treat multicast traffic between the 2 domains. asuming each domain has a RP and there is a MSDP peering between domains.

router1---ether---4507---ether---router2

what iam wondering is will the 4507 flood all multicast traffic that is from one domain to the other to all 4507 ports. Or will the 4507 not forward multicast between domains as it never sees an IGMP join.

Cheers in advance, Kev

CGMP and IGMP software components run on the Cisco router and the switch. A CGMP/IGMP-capable IP multicast router sees all IGMP packets and can inform the switch when specific hosts join or leave IP multicast groups.
