ignore-dcd equivalent for async?

Good day all I have a weird one here. We are using a modem for our last effort link which requires async communication but there is an encryption device physically between the router and modem. This device does not send DCD until the router identifies that it has traffic, which obviously it won't do because the serial interface is down due to DCD not being asserted. I've found in synchronous links that I can use DSR, which the device does send, to determine the up state but I am forced to use async for this scenario. Anyone know if there is a way to use DSR instead of DCD in async?

Thanks for the assistance,

Re: ignore-dcd equivalent for async?

Hi, try "modem callout" under line configuration.
