Interface MTU & RX/TX values are high.

Hi,

I found the following output from my interface showing high MTU values & RX/TX values causing high latency :

Tunnel1190 is up, line protocol is up

  Hardware is Tunnel

  Description: "ABC"

  Internet address is 1.1.1.1/29

  MTU 17886 bytes, BW 100 Kbit/sec, DLY 50000 usec,

     reliability 255/255, txload 255/255, rxload 255/255

  Encapsulation TUNNEL, loopback not set

  Keepalive not set

  Tunnel source 1.1.1.1, destination 2.2.2.2

  Tunnel protocol/transport IPSEC/IP

  Tunnel TTL 255

  Tunnel transport MTU 1446 bytes

  Tunnel transmit bandwidth 8000 (kbps)

  Tunnel receive bandwidth 8000 (kbps)

Tunnel protection via IPSec (profile "ipsec-profile-vti")

Last input never, output never, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 6w3d

Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 152776

  Queueing strategy: fifo

  Output queue: 0/0 (size/max)

  5 minute input rate 204000 bits/sec, 33 packets/sec

  5 minute output rate 272000 bits/sec, 121 packets/sec

176521998 packets input, 3198683225 bytes, 0 no buffer

Received 0 broadcasts (0 IP multicasts)

     0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles

     0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort

     162077114 packets output, 3749387952 bytes, 0 underruns

Interface MTU & RX/TX values are high.

txload 255/255, rxload 255/255 --> shows 100% utilized link. The value is calculated txload and rxload express the fraction of used bandwidth (as configured by the bandwidth command on the interface) by the traffic flowing in either direction.

Can you share the running config of the interface?
