interface POS4/0 Question?

We are currently using this interface for a OC3 connection. We are now going to replace it with a DS3 line. Can I use the same card for this connection? If not which one should I use. This is for a 7204 Router.

Hi,

You cannot use an OC3 card for a DS3 line. Depending on the functionality you are after, you need one of the following:

PA-A3-T3 (DS3 ATM)

PA-MC-T3 (Multi-channel DS3)

PA-T3+ (Serial - clear-channel)

Whoops.. should have read the subject of your post ! You cannot get POS cards on non-optical interfaces for the 7204. You will need to use one of the cards I mentioned in my first post but you cannot use POS.
