Interface status

Hi,

Can any one help me out to know the " Interface status like how many days or hours that a particular interface was or is up " using a cli commands other than any NMS or SYSLOG ,the " sh ver" command will show that,how long the device is up.I want to use a CLI command to know the particular interface status.

The " show interface " command is not showing the hours since how long this interface is up or when and all this interface is down......
