intermittent voice recognition through two lines

We do voice & video traffic load-balancing through two leased line connections. Video qualification is very good, but voice qualification has intermittent stop symptom.

So, we used only one leased line, not load-balancing. Then this problem is disappeared.

Here, what is the prblem?

Our next plan to use two lines is followings.

1. One line is for traffic form A to B by changing OSPF cost

Another line is for traffic from B to A

2. MULTILINK PPP

What is your opinion?

Hi,

Let me know what type of load-balancing you are using rt now. Also per-destination or Per-packet.

You can use any one of the listed option.

1)I would strongly suggest 1) with fast switching enabled not the per-packet switching on the interfaces.

2) We have used it in our network but sometimes it create problem as any voice packet may arrive out of order.

Although MLPPP does the equal distribution of packets, but imagine if even a single packet disorder might create a problem.

We intially used MLPPP in our setup but due to frequent complaints we are using separate E1 of voice.Everyhting works good now except when the link goes down :-)
