Hi Guys,
I've just bought a 7202 router, started it up, and would you believe it I get an internal softawre error saying:-
1. %SHELF-3-DISCOVER_SOCKET_OPEN: socket open failed
An internal software error has occurred.
-Process= "Shelf Hello Proc", ipl= 0, pid= 99
-Traceback= 60D32AE4 606B7DA4 606B7D90
Being new to cisco, I have no idea how to solve this. The only way I can think of is to upload a new ios image?
But how do I get hold of a new image for it? A smartnet contract for a category 13 item seems is over £3000 which seems rediculous as the router was only a couple of hundred off ebay.
Has anyone any ideas or is the router just for the bin (which I hope not!! :-(
