I have 2 sites connected via dark Fiber, I want to provide internet solution for each site , I have Edge router - transparent Firewall -  2x6500 to each site , I am thinking to run EBGP between the Edge routers to 6500 switche in each site ( over the transparent  firewall ) and connect each 6500 together over the fiber ..is that good idea ? please see the attachment ..I need to validate the design Experts

Hello.

From the diagram you provided, I see no reason to run BGP on the core devices, as you already have OSPF configured there.

Do you have any special requirements to run BGP in the core of your network?
