hi

we have two MPLS links terminated on two different router (3825), which were connected to two switches (3750, HSRP), and than connected to two Firewall (ASA5520, HA config). Internet source is from head quarter using MPLS links.

now we decided to terminate intenet link on rouer and disconnect MPLS links ( please refer attachement), and the question arise of load balancing & fail over between intenet links (both links will be from two different ISP). i have refered document showing of load balancing using BGP, but still confused for implementation.

can anyone guide me for step by step implementation plan

Hi Atul,

If i understood correctly you are connecting links from TWO ISP on the same router. then U may use BGP attribute to load balance the incoming and outgoing traffic.

For incoming traffic use AS-PATH attribute.

For outgoing traffic use Weight.

Let me know if you need exact configuration on this secnario ?

hi thanks for response....

we will connect both ISP links to different router and want to load balance/ link failover between these two links.

i have attached the diagram for better understanding of network topology in my first post.
